In order to stay in compliance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) The John A. Logan College Admissions Office will begin a new process when students call or e-mail with a request to obtain their password or JALC identification number.
When a student requests their password or id number they will be referred to this web address:

http://www.jalc.edu/forms/student_id_pass_request.php.

Students will be asked to complete this form and the information will be e-mailed or mailed to the home address they supplied on the form. By completing this form the student will be giving us consent to release this information.

Student passwords are required to access the on-line web-link system students utilize to check their grades, self-register, view their transcript and make payments. Students may also walk-in to the Admissions Office to complete this form and receive their password and/or JALC i.d number.

The staff of the John A. Logan College Admissions Office is busy accepting applications from individuals interested in taking classes during the upcoming summer and fall 2009 semesters. The Admissions Office will begin making appointments to meet with advisors for continuing JALC students on March 30 and these appointments will begin on April 6, 2009. Individuals who will be new students at JALC or have not attended within the last year may begin making appointments on April 13 and these appointments will begin on April 20, 2009. We recommend that students don't wait until the last minute and get signed up early while class availability is high.
